The Chickens are the direct descendent of the Gallus, Gallus, the Wild Red Jungle Fowl of India. The have been used for the production of eggs and meat since the early 1930’s. There are one-hundred and fifty different varieties of domestic chicken, and these come in a large variety of colors and patterns.

Chickens were first domesticated over eigth-thousand years ago’ Chickens were considered a sacred bird by many tribes and was a symbol of the Sun.
